The Radiant and Intelligent, Heart Centre
'We are, each of us angels with only one wing; and we can only fly by embracing one another' -
Luciano de Crescenzo
The heart centre, Anahata in sanskrit, is the centre of twelve petalled lotus flower, pink or green in colour. The heart centre resonates the frequency of love, unconditional love, compassion, empathy and care. When this centre is emotionally blocked it causes heartache, and it is not uncommon for people to die from a broken heart and love pain. The heart is situated close to the thymus. The heart determines the thymus gland which is associated with the endrocine system, and is responsible for the functioning of the immune system, disease prevention, coping with stress, and the production of T cells.
Western Scientific research suggests that the heart is a self - sufficient energy centre, that has it's own brain and communicates information with the cranial brain through the nervous system, hormonal system, pulse waves and the electromagnetic field. The complex and intelligent heart centre through it's rhythmic resonance and frequency harmonises, balances and replenishes the body as it pumps the vital supply of blood through the veins organs and glands.
Research conducted by Heartmath Institute explains that,' The heart's electrical field is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the electrical activity generated by the brain. Furthermore, the magnetic field produced by the heart is more than 5,000 times greater in strength than the field generated by the brain, and can be detected a number of feet away from the body, in all directions.'
'The heart's electromagnetic field--by far the most powerful rhythmic field produced by the human body--not only envelops every cell of the body but also extends out in all directions into the space around us. The cardiac field can be measured several feet away from the body by sensitive devices.'
They also suggest that it may well be possible that the electromagnetic field generated by the heart sends out information which is picked up by other people.
In Chinese medicine the heart centre is the major governing organ of the body, and not only has physical importance but also mental and emotional. The heart houses spirit and mind. When there is too much yin in the heart it can lead to palpitations, anxiety, restlessness and insomnia. When the blood is deficient in this region it causes depression, memory loss, fatigue, brain fog.
In Qi Gong the practice of Thymus tapping is conducted to alleviate stress, and improve immune functionality. The tapping over the heart region draws blood into the Thymus gland and enables it to produce T - cells. Thymus tapping is done by either clenching the fist or slapping the centre of the chest for 3 minutes. This will begin to induce a state of calmness.
From a spiritual perspective, the dormant Source resides in the heart centre of every single being, and it wants to live, love and laugh. When the Divine Energy is transmitted by the Perfect Teacher to the initiate, an harmonious resonance occurrs in the heart centre. It feels like there are butterflies dancing in this centre, the physical effects are felt straight away. When we sit in meditation and concentrate on the vibration of Satnam and exude it with the heart centre, waves and waves of limitless, uncontrollable bliss are transmitted ithrough the body and then our physical space, then outwards into the etheric resonance. The whole Universe is simply operating within the expansion and contraction of the heart. If you want to know the Source, meditate on your own heart centre, and repeat Satnam. That is the formula, the equation the solution. We get out of our head, the logic mind, rationality confined thinking and into the heart. The heart centre opens, blooms, and flourishes like a rose bud, opening up. At times in my meditation I have seen a massive heart pumping in vast expanse of the Universe.

The Saints are radiating from the sacred heart centre hence, they are called Sant Hirda, the Supreme Heart Centre. The Saints have a infinite supply of love, compassion and empathy. They are pulsating, radiating and constantly vibrating from this region. Their love is so immense that it encompasses the whole of the earth, they are in a constant state of cleaning and recycling energy. The Saints absorb pain, suffering and other lower frequency energies transmute them, and purify them into the frequency of unconditional love. The Saints do this for their students, the whole of humanity, the animals, plants, the elements, the ethers, and the entirety of Universes. The Saints do this service because they are in allegiance and in love with the Supreme Source.
The Heart Sutra of Buddha
At one time the Buddha was in a great assembly of monks and went into deep state of Sunn - Samadhi. The monk Śariputra, asked the Buddha, 'How should a son of a good lineage who wishes to practice the profound perfection of wisdom train ? ' The Buddha replied to Śariputra,
'Śariputra, a son or a daughter of good lineage who wishes to practice the
profound perfection of Wisdom should perceive things in this way:
Form is empty; Emptiness is form.
Emptiness is not other than Form; Form is not other than Emptiness.
In the same way, feeling, discrimination, conditioning factors, and consciousness are empty. Therefore, Śariputra, all phenomena are empty, without characteristic, un-produced, un-ceased, stainless, not stainless, undiminished, unfilled. Therefore, Śariputra, in emptiness there is no form, no feeling, no discrimination, no conditioning factors, no consciousness, no eye, no ear, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind, no form, no sound, no odour, no taste, no object of touch, no phenomenon, no eye constituent up to and including no mental consciousness constituent, no ignorance, no extinction of ignorance, no aging and death up to and including no extinction of aging and death.
In the same way, no suffering, origin, cessation, path, no wisdom, no attainment, no non-attainment. Therefore, Śariputra, because bodhisattvas have no attainment, they rely on and abide in the perfection of wisdom; because their minds are without obstruction, they have no fear. They pass completely beyond error and go to the fulfillment of nirvana. All the buddhas who abide in the three times have fully awakened into unsurpassed, complete, perfect enlightenment in dependence on the perfection of wisdom. Therefore, the mantra of the perfection of wisdom is the mantra of great knowledge, the unsurpassed mantra, the mantra equal to the unequaled, the mantra that completely pacifies all suffering. Because it is not false, is should be known to be true.'
Bow again and again to the Perfect Heart Centre, the Lotus in the Heart, the Rose in the Heart, Baba Ji. 'I have never met a person whose greatest need was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of kindness toward someone who needs help. There is no mistaking love. You feel it in your heart. It is the common fiber of life, the flame of that heats our soul, energizes our spirit and supplies passion to our lives. It is our connection to God and to each other ' - Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
