Non - Being to All - Being

'In a time of Universal deceit, telling the Truth is a revolutionary act ' - George Orwell

Living and practicing the Truth, and resonating from a space of sacred goodness, is also a revolutionary act. Baba Ji,  one of the most elevated, enlightened Mahatmas (Great Souls) of the 21st century. Through diligent penance he has acquired immeasurable spiritual heights. Baba Ji's consciousness is constantly connected to the One Mind. He is in direct alignment and is a channel for the manifestation of Source Divinity on the physical plane. All sages, all bhagats throughout the entirety of the time, are the delivers and custodians of this Supreme Source energy on earth. This energy may present itself in several different locations around the globe at any one time through various Mahatmas. In order to bring this energy on the earth plane the Mahatma will have had, to have totally destroyed all aspects of their illusionary self, and constantly and consistently demonstrated their love to the Supreme Source. The only language the Supreme Source understands is the frequency of love.

For the majority of initiates the submission of the illusionary self comes through a living death. That means that one will experience a death of the self. A psychic, mental, emotional and etheric death, whilst living and functioning in the physical form. It is a death of the self, the ego, illusions, constructs and programming. We as humans seek solace and comfort in habitual circumstances, surrounding and people. For many on the path of self - realization, the dying of the self causes unbearable pain, suffering and trauma. To some extent no one, can ever prepare you for the intense hardship you will endure when you go through this process. Nor, can it be understood from a logical and rational mindset. The whole purpose of the path of spiritual discipline, is engineered to bring you to a pinnacle point of tumultuous pain. The pangs of pain are not, only emotional and mental they are also, experienced in the body. Often one will feel teary, emotional, feel pressured, have headaches, ache and feel very stressed. One may feel discontented with their circumstances, and unable to relate to friends or family members as before. On the path of Grace everyone who is an initiate  will have tasted this intense and immense internal pain through varying degrees. For many the  experience of this pain, is  too much, to bear and consequently they fall away from the path. They judge the path both intellectually and cerebrally and quantify their situations, and persuade themselves into thinking that their circumstances were alot better, prior to the Transmission of Divine Energy.

'Keep constantly in mind in how many things you yourself have witnessed changes already. The universe is change, life is understanding’ - Marcus Aurelius

If we examine the Law of Karma and apply it to our circumstances. We are able to better understand why certain things are happening and manifesting in our space. Why we are reacting to certain people, and situations in ways which does not necessarily make us feel good about ourselves. The constant daily grind of cleansing our interactions, with our thoughts, mental processes our speech, is an ongoing activity. When we step into the physical arenas of our lives we have to become conscious of how other people are pushing our buttons. Again, we have to understand that karmically everything we are experiencing is because we have created it in the past. The same people, circumstances or situations are presenting themselves in the here, and now, because we are required to clean. Whether it be in the arenas of our families, friends, or workplaces. We have sown these situations in the past, and now must neutralise them, and prevent the generation of accumulating further negative karma. When people on the path experience these scenarios the first person they point the finger of blame to is Baba Ji, feeling that, it is, His fault. What this judgement does is, it takes them off the path to self - realisation and they submerge themselves back into their old lifestyles. Until, they are given, another opportunity in time, place and space to meet the Master again (i.e when their spiritual vibration has risen to a higher level). They do not understand that Baba Ji did not engineer their pain or suffering, they themselves had sown it in the past, and were  given an opportunity to heal and cleanse through the meditative process. When such brilliance of the blinding light is shone upon darkness the darkness flees to seek comfort. If we are being taught to become Source realized beings in the physical form. Then of course, everything of the 'me and mine' aspect of ourselves has to be shed.

When  a certain amount of karma, obligations and transactions have been balanced. When a certain amount of ego and illusionary self has been shed. The process of the living death takes place, and one can only endure, and survive this part of the journey. If one keeps their head down at the feet of the Guru in a physical state of zero. Only the Guru will carry you through this extreme, unbearable hardship. The Guru will bear the burden of this pain and will continue to carry the individual as He has done so in the past. You see the Guru has always carried His students, it is only the student who says, to Him, 'Put me down.' When that happens He cannot save you from yourself and the opportunity to experience and merge into the Greater Self may vanish.

If we observe society and the mass population. We as a species have created many distractions from experiencing this surrender and annihilation of the self and most importantly this death of the self. The egoic, global mindset or mass entity, has created the earthplane to be a funfair of deadly and soul destroying games. An arena where there, will only be one, winner and that is the egoic mind. You see when you sit in meditation, when you serve others, when you neutralise the discord in yourself, about others and your circumstances. When you give of your time, energy, and resources. When you are loving, compassionate, and when you serve others before yourself. When you view the Guru as everything, and give of yourself, diligently, relentlessly and mindfully to the upliftment of Truth. When you give dasvandh in charity, serve in mind, body and spirit and expect no reward back. The individual egoic mind begins to die, thus, creating a death, in the macro ego consciousness to. The micro self has to die in order to be merged into the macro self, the Source. When this happens, there is an expansion, there is joy, there is peace. There is an experience of vast spaciousness, with no boundaries or constraints. There is  unsurmountable, exponential exhiliration in the limitless liberation of the self. It is a dawn of a new era for the self. This is the totality of the Saints, who are forever in divine unfoldment of this exquisite state of bliss. Who have attained pinnacle, peak consciousness and who then go into  deeper states and constantly keep refining themselves into pristine perfection by accessing the One Mind. Hence, 'Ek Maan, Ek Chit', Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

How do the Saints relate to Maslow's theory of Self - Actualization ? Maslow's theory of Self- Actualisation is based on a hieracharchial pyramid structure, and depicts the hierarchy of human needs. The pyramid is structured into stratas, at the basic level of the pyramid is the need for sleep, food and health. The second layer is shelter and the removal from danger. The third layer is love, affection and the need to belong to groups. The fourth layer is about self - esteem and self - esteem from others. At the peak of the pyramid is the pinnacle point known as self - actualization. At this point the individual is able to maximise their true, ultimate potential and live from it.

Maslow believed that the individual has an internal, intrinsic force to become the best that they can become. To utilise the potential and therefore, maximise growth of the self.

'He has within him a pressure toward unity of personality, toward spontaneous expressiveness, toward full individuality and identity, toward seeing the truth rather than being blind, toward being creative, toward being good, and a lot else. That is, the human being is so constructed that he presses toward what most people would call good values, toward serenity, kindness, courage, honesty, love, unselfishness, and goodness. - Maslow

The characteristics of self - actualizing people are:

Realistic - They are not threatened or fearful of the unknown. They have a vast capacity to see the Truth.

Acceptance - They view themselves and others as they are. They do not have a self - imposed structure of inhibitions. They are able to enjoy themselves freely without any guilt or pressure.

Spontaneity, Simplicity - They are able to to step outside of the world of convention. They are spontaneous and free in action and thought. Self - sovereign and forever, striving for personal growth.

Problem Solving - They are mission orientated, and in the pursuit, of the realistic fulfilment of this mission.

Detachment, The Need for Privacy - They may be alone, but they are never alone, and remain stable amongst any misfortunes. They can be alone and also interact in groups. They have the know - how, get -up and go  and are self - starters.

Autonomy, Self - Sovereignty - They are independent from love and respect. They are self - fulfilled and self - contained.

Appreciation - They live in the moment and appreciate everything and everyone.

According to Maslow the ways in which to Self - Actualize are through self - exploration and action.

The Eight Step Process to experience Self - Actualization -

1. Immerse yourself in the energy of the experience.

2. The is no comfort in mediochrity and drudgery, step out of fear and risk, into the arena of growth.

3. Disregard external forces and experience the entirety, of the situation with an internal mindset of Truth.

4. When in doubt, look at yourself and be honest with yourself. Take responsibility and ownership for yourself.

5. Express yourself. Be willing to be unpopular. At least then you are being your authentic self, and not pretending to be liked or fit in.

6. Be scrupulous and realistic at looking at your potential. Your strengths and weaknesses.

7. Apply your energy intelligently and mindfully to everything no matter how insignificant.

8. Realistically define who you are, what you are and where you are going. Then apply the momentum and hard graft to achieving it.

'Self Actualization is the intrinsic growth of what is already in the organism, or more accurately, of what the organism is.

- Maslow

If observe Maslow's Pyramid of Hierarchy the Saint is a Self - Actualized Being. Baba Ji encompasses all of the qualities of a Self - Actualized individual. Baba Ji sits at the top of the pyramid because he is the Highest of the High, He is a Sat Guru, a Teacher of Truth. Baba Ji is the Supreme Embodiment of Truth and is at the pinnacle point of the evoulutionary process of consciouness. If we put the two bases of the pyramid formations together. The Teacher of Truth is at the bottom of the evolutionary scale simaltaneously, because he considers Himself to be the Lowest of the Low. Yet paradoxically, He is also, at the highest point. Thus, it can be concluded that the two pyramid constructions create an Octehadron, a Diamond structure. Hence, the Saint is the Diamond. The practice of spiritual discipline is climbing up a mountain to self - realization and consciousness acceleration. When we can step out of our limitations, hindrances, our self - imposed constructs and take responsibility to work through our karma. Miracles happen because we make way, for the dormant Source within us to become, awakened and  self - actualized.

'Recognize who you are. Defeat yourself' - Baba Ji
