'To become an All Being, you have to become  a Non - Being'  - Baba Ji

That means the eradication of the ego and awakening the dormant Supreme within. By instilling the value of humility, by embracing everything as Source energy,  in whatever guise it crosses your path. By acknowledging yourself  as the lowest of the low. Being in service to Truth and the entirety of creation. To be in the moment in a zero state. To experience yourself as an empty vacumn, with the vibration of  Divinity pulsating through your being. To come into energetic, vibrational alignment on every level, holistically and organically. To capture the moment in time and space.

With the nurturing winter months behind us, it's time to step into action, and harness the power of spring, the time for rebirth and rejuventation. The time to plant seeds into the fertile earth of our being and blossom forthwith. The following tips can be implemented into one's daily practice. The benefits are numerous and can  become part of a life long practice on the road to self - mastery. You will experience an interconnectdness between spirit, mind and body. You will awaken the innate intelligence deep within your own being, and the cellular wisdom. You will be able to access dormant potential, experience longevity, and the authentic self. You will be able to experience yourself as whole and complete within your own body and in be harmony with nature.

1. Meditation - The daily practice of meditation done at least twice daily on the resonance of Truth on Source energy. Mediation enables us to discipline our mind and thoughts. It nourishes our being on a deep cellular level. Meditation gives us clarity of thought, it provides us with deep insight and the solutions to our daily lives. It is a powerful cleaning agent, a magnificent healer and awakens the dormant Supreme within.

2. Breathing - Deep breathing works on the mental and physical level.. The breath is the power of life. We beath in prana (lifeforce) and breath out apana (toxicities).  The breath stimulates  all the master glands in the brain, it fights depression,  awakens intuition, insight and aids in concentration.. The breath circulates energy through the lymphatic, endrocine, skeletal, glandular and muscular systems. It pumps blood and oxygen through the organs and glands it detoxifies, regenerates and charges each cell. Correct breathing can fight off a myriad of stress related conditions, it diffuses infection and disease. The left and right hemphipheres of the brain come into synchronistic alignment. This controls body functionality, as well as,  mental and physical health, it enhances creativity, memory, intelligence and emotional states.

3.Exercise - The intrinsic joy of movement. To bring the mind and body into balance, to move the body with breath. To experience flexibility and longevity, yoga, chi - kung, tai - chi, pilates are beneficial. For cardivascular training and stamina you can do running. To develop strength and muscular definition you can train with weights.Allow your physical discipline to become a moving meditation. Both walking and swimming synchronise both sides of the brain and body. To obtain maximum benefits find a programme that adequately suits and supports you.

'If you stretch your sciatica nerve everyday, you will not know old - age ' - Yogi Bhajan

4. Diet - Ensure that your diet is as natural as possible, and comprises of fruit, vegatables, legumes, nuts, seeds, and rice.Cut down on the intake of meat it is ladened with hormones and is chemical ridden,  it is difficult to digest, and creates an acidic imbalance in the body. Excessive acidity in body is caused by stress, and poor diet over a period of time this can cause cancer in the body. This is because the cells are starved of oxygen. (Hence, smokers are more likely to be prone to cancer).

Diary products ontain fat which is difficult to digest, they contain hormones and create excessive mucuous in the body which clog the colon and trigger off allergies. Excessive sugar leads to obesity, creates the formation of yeast in the gut which breeds and saps the nutritional value of  food. Sugar creates a spiral of addiction and leaves you craving for more. Reduce the intake of coffee, and  caffeine overall. Switch to Dandelion coffee, natural and caffeine free.

5. Herbs - We can access the potent power of herbs and spices in our diet. Cinnamon balances sugar levels, turmeric is excellent  for joints and is anti - flammotory. Ginger relieves nausea, arthiritis and aids digestion, it also brings the body into balance after ingesting foods which may be mucous forming. Garlic is reptudely known for it's antibacterial properties. Black pepper causes the body to sweat and dispel water, it burns fat cells by creating heat in the body and enhances metabolism. This is known as thermogenics. Other thermogenic spices are, chillies, both red and green, cumin, cloves and cardomans.

The herbs Nettle and Dandelion detoxify the liver whilst Milk Thistle both detoxifies and repairs the liver cells. The liver is located on the right side of the torso under the rib cage. The kidneys are located in the lower back region, they control the expelling of fluid, and the functioning of the immune system. Whilst the Agni power,  the restorative power, the digestive furnace is two inches below the below button. Ginger is exceptionally excellent for retaining heat in this region. Which promotes health, vitality, vigour and the ability to fight off disease.

You can also access the potent power of herbs by drinking natural teas. Thinly slice your lemons and freeze them and add them to your teas (as and when required). Yogi Tea is made of cinnamon bark, ginger, cloves, cardoman and  black peppercorns. It has a detoxifying effect and cleanses the liver, kidneys and colon. In the 1960's, Yogi Bhajan put substance users on a strict recovery programme, and gave them copious amounts of Yogi Tea to detoxify their livers. He fed them  the traditional Indian dish of mung beans or (split red lentils), and rice, known as 'kitcheree'  It is easily assimilated by the body, easy to ingest and digest, and when the two components of rice and lentils are eaten together they become a nutritionally dense, and a  protein packed dish. Personally,  I prefer to cook the rice and lentils seperately. Below are my own versions.

Split Red Lentil Dahl

 ½  Cup of washed lentils

2 to 2 ½ Cups of water (boling water)

6.Chocolate - Are you craving chocolate ? Reach for a banana instead to subside the sugar cravings. They are also high in potassium which is, good for the kidneys and the skeletal system. They are also good for combatting stress as they are mildly sedative. A fast food for when,  your on the go. You can try the below recipes which include bananas and get your chocolate fix at the same time.

7. Female Health - Yogi Bhajan says, that papayas, peaches, pears and plums are particularly good for women. These fruits breakdown stress in the navel region, prevent the formation of ovarian cysts, blocks and ulcers. A woman should eat almonds and lots of green vegetables. The brain is predominantly made of , and surrounded by water. The lack of water causes dehydration which leads to headaches, dizziness, memory loss and lack of concentration.

Bathing in warm water with a handful of good quality rocksalt draws out the impurites and toxins. You can also make a salt scrub and infuse it with essential oils and exfoiliate as required. Reducing the risk of putting harmful chemicals into your body.

Using thermogenics as part of your cleansing regime. Turn down the temperature of your shower and blast your body with cooler water, and briskly massage your limbs to raise your body temperature. This sends blood and oxygen to the organs and glands and pulls out the impurities and toxins. It stimulates the lymphatic system and improves immunity as well as increasing the energy levels. Rinsing your scalp with cooler water, floods it with a fresh supply of blood, stimulating hair growth, wakefulness and concentration.

10. Essential Oils - Lemongrass awakens the senses, it stimulates the mind and brain. Put a few drops on a tissue and inhale it,  it will keep you awake if you are required to do long distance driving, studying,or anything that requires concentration and brain activity. Also, excellent for jet - lag. It is also excellent to inhale the oil  prior to a work out  or burn it in an aromatherapy oil burner in the room your exercising in.Gives you a sense of mental alertness and focus. Tea Tree oil is antibacterial, anti - viral and anti - fungal  it useful for cuts, grazes and abrasions. Add a few drops to water and gargle for sore throats. It can reduce the risk of infection and destroys air - borne bacteria. Extermely beneficial to burn in an aromatherapy oil burner during the winter months to prevent colds and during the summer,  for hayfever. Gargling with clove oil mixed in water reduces toothache and gum swelling. For aching, sore feet, soak them in a bowl of hot water and add a handful of  rock salt and a small dash of either almond, coconut or olive oil.

For a moisturising, nourishing face mask, mix some oat flakes into a paste with water, a drop of almond oil, and a drop of rose oil. and liberally put on your skin, put some cucumbers on your eyes or teabags and relax. Rinse off with your facial cleanser. Massage your temples, ear lobes, top of the saclp  to release tension in the face and give you radiance. Surround yourself with beauty, flowers, candles, scents and harmony. Let your environment be a projection of this beauty, manifested into physical space. Let your environment be a space to heal, charge and replenish yourself.

Lower the temperture of your hot water and central heating. Recycle card, paper, glass, and aliminuim cans. Invest in a compost bin for the bottom of your garden to put all the perishable waste in it. Use energy saving light bulbs. Turn off the lights if your not in the room. Take your own bags to the supermarket.

15. Nature - Whether it's spending time in the garden, walking outdoors, going to the park or spending time at the beach. Develop a connection with nature, become mindful of the seasons and into alignment with them. If you move and flow with the seasons you will never get sick or depressed.
