Conversation About Baba ji - Aug 10

Preeto : We asked Baba ji, that someone was asking us on email "how do they know if they have had the Gurprasaadi Naam?" and Baba ji replied that, "if you won the lottery, you would raise your hands and shout "I've won, I've won!"  So when you get the Naam, you know it, and will raise your arms and say, "SatNaam ! SatNaam!"

 

Everytime we meet Baba ji, we feel like we have won the lottery and want to share all the wealth of stories and wisdom, to whoever is a Truth-seeker out there, to whoever is struggling to find a way , like we were for so many years.  But we understand too that that its a real struggle for many people in the sangat to follow this path and face backlash of parents and society around them, we went through the same thing.  So that is why we try not to use people’s names or put up photos or videos of sangat.  [Have taken photos off for this reason].

 

Baba ji said to K paji and HC Paji that they , as rest of sangat, can do simran and seva of their family as sangat, and dont need to go to Gurdwaras if they don’t wish to and no need to make a big deal or have arguments at home about  meeting Baba ji or their inner spiritual path, because Baba ji has already done that at Gurdwaras and taken all the slander and attacks so we don’t need to go through it as well.

 

B PaJi:: thats nice

 

Preeto: you are great, all you guys are great, we learned so much from just seeing how much love and devotion and humbleness everyone had in Canada, it brought tears to our eyes many times.

 

B PaJi:: satnaam. power of naam to bring all us togehter and sharing love

 

Preeto: also we remembered (God reminded us!) the story of the tests Guru ram das ji had to go thru.

 

B PaJi:: oh yeah?

 

Preeto: he and his brother-in-law were contenders for the guruship.  So Guru Amar Das ji asked them each to build a stage upon which Guru ji could address the sangat.   Each time they built it, Guru amar das ji criticised it and told them to tear it down and do it right.  You can imagine how much enthusiasm they had at the beginning and how much ego of a normal person would start getting hurt after a few times.  However, after the fourth time at being told off , the brother-in-law Bhai Rama ji, lost his patience and said to Guru Amar Das ji, "there’s nothing wrong with any of the stages I built, you must be getting old!" and he stormed off  refusing to build anymore.  But Bhai Jetha ji , just kept his head low, kept saying "sat bachan – your words are Truth Guru ji", and kept knocking the stage down and starting again, after the seventh time, Guru ji hugged Bhai Jetha and accepted he had no ego at all, and gave him the guruship and called him Guru Ram Das ji.

 

B PaJi:: satnaam :)

Preeto: we know the website is our test and getting criticism from some is just the same test for our ego.  So we have to laugh and say to God - to Baba ji in them, that they cant catch us out, we wont lose to ego, we are only going to hold on to their feet now, we have nowhere else to go!!  However, still having the wisdom , ego is ego and still has to be beaten.  The tests never seem to finish!!!!!!!

 

B PaJi:: haha - ur rite bro, they aint going till our ego goes! that is a bootiful story bro. thanku for sharing that.

 

Preeto: we saw an amazing transformation of K paji and HC Paji ji the day after you guys left.  It was absolutely incredible how Baba ji transformed them in a matter of minutes, freed them from ego and pride and machonesss, into experincing soul-bliss, love and compassion - they now have shining faces – mukh ujalay.

 

Preeto: we realised that Baba ji could have done the same thing for us the first time he met us, put us straight into feeling the amrit.  We remember when we got back from meeting Baba ji the first time, the Singh ji whom we were staying with, was surprised we hadn’t been completely transformed, and said to us that Baba ji could have transformed us.  But we didnt understand at that time what he meant.  We just felt happy and that was enough for us.

 

And over the years we have really struggled with concetrating, feeling Amrit, getting frustrated everytime we used to come to sangat or do amrtivela because others are feeling or seeing great things, but we just felt we are banging our head on a brick wall. 

 

Even in canada last few weeks, we never felt "sat ka nasha" like the others, nor did we drift off into samadhi and completely lose ourself, nor did we see flowers raining down or guru darshans.   We did feel amrit sometimes and feel the Light of SAT PARBRAHM later in the week.  But, even so, we were happy for everyone else, and it has just taught us to be more humble, our prayer now to Baba ji is, “make everyone else into a sant and keep us as the doormat they wipe their feet on.  And the more the rub their feet on ourr head may our ego be completely trampled into the dirt.”

 

Then Baba ji, who is knower of hearts, told us on the last day the reason.  We didnt even ask him.  He just started saying that if he had given us everything on the first meeting that he knew we would have become arrogant  (he didnt say it, but we knew he had seen the same thing happen to previous sangat after he had given them everything right away, but they wanted left after slandering and thinking they were the Guru now.)

 

Preeto: and we said to Baba ji, he was absolutely right.  We would have become arrogant.  We thanked Baba ji for being the BEST OF THE BEST TEACHERS IN THE WHOLE WORLD.  That he taught us in the best way, by keeping all these spiritual gifts back from us, so we would learn humbleness, that it’s not in my hands to have them, but HIS.   Baba ji told us once that god keeps bhagit in his own hands and gives to whomever HE chooses.

 

And if everything we receive now we really, truly appreciate it – wether it’s a smile, a kind word, seeing an act of kindness, feeling the Light, having peace of mind, having an inspiring dream and so on.

 

Baba ji also said to us when we get the gifts, "maan na karee - dont get proud"  and "dont call yourself PARBRAHM."

 

Preeto: Last night we were trying to do our simran and when we thought about this we couldnt stop laughing at how hard we had tried and how frustrated we had got.  And even though everyone says do seva and amritvela simran for long hours, bhagti has actually got nothing to do with that physical activity.  Because, even by trying to do all those things we still mostly didnt get the spiritual gifts like we saw others get – we just got  frustration – which is a complaint , a sign of ungratefulness, the root cause of which is our ego, meaning we have done seva and simran for want of spiritual gifts in order to make our ego feel good, that we too have reached somewhere like rest of sangat.

 

So we just did our simran whilst lying in bed saying to Baba ji, we are not going to even try hard anymore, we will hold on to your Satnaam in our heart day and night as best as we can, rest is upto you.  If you want to give us something good, if not that is good too!!!!

 

Preeto: We saw through the whole illusion of religious discpline we had been observing!!!!!!!  In ego we came , in ego we went!!  When we saw the transformation of K paji and HC Paji in a matter of minutes we realised everything is in Baba ji's hands, and it has absolutely nothing to do with what seva or long hours of amritvela year after year as we are doing!!

 

All we need to do is pray to Baba ji to keep us as he wants to, give us what he wants to, make us do what he sees as best for us.  so what a great freedom we have got now through that realisation.

 

B PaJi:: WICKED!!!!

 

Preeto: Ha ha ha ha - Baba ji wanted us to learn the hard way, that ego doesnt win anything.

 

B PaJi:: :) pure light bulb moment

 

Preeto: no matter how much seva and simran we do, its only by HIS GRACE we get anything.

 

B PaJi:: ur rite brother. its like mool mantar, goes through all the qualities of god and at end it says clearly only through gurparsaad can u reach god!

 

Preeto: we really have been a thick headed fool!

 

B PaJi:: if we werent thick, we'd be Brahamgyani!

 

Preeto: the clues were always there, we think we understood, but we didnt!

 

B PaJi:: its a great realisation bro.  Thanks for sharing.

 

Preeto: we had another great realisation as well on the last day at breakfast alone with Baba ji.  We looked into his eyes and realised there is Supreme Being sitting in there.  We said to Baba ji , know we see why Namjeevan says king of kings in your praise.

 

We stopped eating, put our hands together and were really humbled to be sitting in prescence of God himself.  Baba ji then revealed another one of his plays that we had been thinking about, but hadn’t asked!  We always knew that when we speak to Baba ji, he starts off talking about God being up above and Sat Ram DAs being down here, but as he talks energy levels go higher, he gets louder, starts laughing and "goes crazy" as he himself put it.  Then we know that it is actually God talking now, not Babaji.

 

We had seen glimpses of this over the last few times we met. But we couldnt figure out, is Baba ji then channelling for God?  Is baab ji separate from God, but god takes over sometimes?

 

Baba ji then gave us the answer without us asking.  He said that he treats everyone exactly as they see him.  So if the wives treat him as a husband , that is what they get.

If the kids treat him as dad or granddad, that is what they get.  If the tenants treat him as a landlord that is what they see.  And if we treat him as a Baba ji (i.e. a great sant), then that is what we get – great wisdom and we become great Sant as well.  And he deals with everyone in exact measures, account by account, i.e. as per karma, as per "jo mangay takur soee soee devay – whatever you ask of god, that is exactly what you get."

 

And we then realised that if someone comes as lowest of low, as dust of the feet, full of love and devotion, then accounts are ripped up and He reveals Himself as what we call King of Kings, Supreme Soul.   We were absolutely amazed.  Like the story of when Baba Budda ji asked Guru Angad Dev ji how come he became the second Guru?  And Guru ji asked Baba Budda ji, “tell me when you looked at Guru Nanak Ji what did you see?”  And Baba Budda ji replied, “I saw a BrahmGiani – a great saint.”  And guru Ji said to him, “and you to became a Brahmgiani.”  Then Baba Budda ji asked Guru Angad Dev ji , “what did you see?”  And Guru ji replied, “I saw Nirankar – God Himself.”   And Baba Budda ji replied, “And you become God too.”

 

Preeto: We were amazed to realise that the Supreme Being is sitting withn Baba ji’s body.  We stood up and were quite tearful by then, we started reciting a shabad "gurdev mata gurdev pita gurdev swamee parmesara ..", that we always read.  As we said each line we realised what it really meant, that God is in the Guru, God is the Guru is everything for us.  And the lower we became in our mind and heart, the King of Kings started appearing in Baba  ji, he started smiling, twirling, shining eyes, getting louder, laughing and kept saying "yes" , "yes" after each line we recited.  And the last line "gurdev satgur parbrahm parmesar, gurdev nanak har namaskara" that the Divine guru is the SATGURU is PARBRAHM PARMESAR and Nanak bows to God in the Guru.  So we did dandauth bandhna and realised that Baba ji is not Baba ji, but God is Baba ji, hiding in that body we call Baba ji, waiting for us to become innocent and devoted and determined like Bhagat Dhanna Ji and the rock, until HE reveals himself.  And Baba ji gave us so many blessings after that, so many, we are so unworthy.

 

And then it was like at the end of the film Sixth Sense, when you realise the Truth and then replay the whole last 8 years we have been on this path, and realise Baba ji is not just a great Sant or Guru, but was God all along.  We went to Baba ji looking for a Guru to unite us with God, didn’t realise we had found God Himself.  We went to the river for a sip of water and ended up falling into the ocean of love that is Baba ji.

 

Preeto: Right on our first visit we said to Baba ji we dont get what the difference is between Satnaam and Satguru, are God and Guru same or different or what – Gurbani is so confusing?  And he said that SatNaam is the Satguru.  So he did tell us upfront, but we didnt get it!!!  And didnt become Bhagat Dhanna at that time.

 

Ha ha ha ha :)   What a journey!!

 

B PaJi:: haha- wat gyan, wat realisation. brilliant!!

 

B PaJi:: so so powerful what u wrote bro. thanku so much for sharing that!

 

Preeto: We told this to Dassan Dass ji yesterday and he said that he had realised this the very first time he met Baba ji, that he Himself was God - brahmgiani meh aap nirankaara.

And that was why Dassan Dass ji progressed so fast, the secrest of his success as he put it.

 

B PaJi:: satnaam. dhan dhan Dassan Dass ji.

 

Preeto: Baba ji even said at one point, "Stop calling me Baba ji" and said to us another time , "Before I sent the Gurus and Bhagats but still people have gone astray, so this time I have come myself."  So if there were any doubts left, there are none now.  And Baba ji also gave us another clue once as well, he said, "If in our sangat comes the past Gurus, Jesus and others to serve the sangat, then what am I to them?  That if 120,000 sant and Gurus are serving alongside Namjeevan and Tanraj ji clearing up spiritual realms, then who am I, that they are serving?"

 

But the much simpler realisation we had of this was when Baba ji did what he did in sangat.  When he put his hands on devotee’s heads and roamed around inside the heart and mind, knew all their inner secrets, forgave them and erased all their dukhs completely in a matter of minutes.  Then asked them can they find any dukh inside, and though they tried they couldnt, and then asked them "try and cry now" , and they couldnt.

 

And when he sat K paji and HC Paji in front of himself, and started givng them a stomach full of amrit, making them ask "how did you do that?" then making them feel Rom-Rom simran in their lip, making them wonder what is happening.  Then telling HC Paji that the plant next to him is doing simran right now, then asking HC to feel it, and he felt a leaf with his forefinger and thumb and with a look if utter surprise said "I can feel it breathing!"  Then opening the amrit centres in the head so they could feel amrit shower inside.

 

B PaJi:: wow!

 

Preeto: then when he asked HC Paji to forgive his sister and he still said he couldnt forgive her for what shes done to him, then Baba ji said, "OK ego and pride is still high" and then pointed his fingers at him and lowered them , lowering ego and pride.  Then HC Paji was able to say "I forgive her and her boyfriend."  Then Baba ji when you go back, give her a big hug.  Just like if you have been hurt and wounded and would appreciate a big hug.  He said that would be difficult, and Baba ji sribbled with one finger on the palm of the other hand, and said “It is written now, you will hug her when you get back,”

 

Then Baba ji asked us to take a picture of him as Sat ParBrahm.  He went quier, his whole face lit up even more like a light bulb being overpowered, and we took a picture, and Baba ji said to HC Paji , this is for you, just for you to put on your wall and will bless you every time you look at it.

 

B PaJi:: WOW!!!

 

Preeto: So we ask ourself , who is in Baba ji that knows everything about the heart of another, about how the body of the other works?  It is the same one who is actually sitting in our hirdha - God. 

 

B PaJi:: satnaam. thats powerfull bro

 

Preeto: We also used to wonder, no matter what spiritual experience anyone has, like Namjeevan ji,  Baba ji always knows exactly what it is and explains it,  and in the sangat when O ji was in samadhi, Baba ji was explaining every asan in great detail-  he even explained one before the asan even happened!!  And when I penjee was dancing intoxicated, Baba ji was the one who gave her that gift as she had said "she isn’t convinced about Baba ji yet" so he kept asking her after that, "do you believe in God now?  Who is your KHASAM now?" and she could only nod in intoxication of love and joy and point to Him – god inside Baba ji’s body, the one she was seeing with her inner eye.

Preeto: And Baba ji also revealed her dancing was their to show her that God was in control not here, and she needed to do humble ardas and become lowest for them to ease away.

So who or what is Baba ji??? 

 

B PaJi:: SAT  PARBRAHM

 

That is why he said many times to us over the years, “he is nameless.”  - Namstang Nrinamay – I bow to the one who has no name – Jaap Sahib.

 

Amazing, amazing, amazing amazing!!!

 

B PaJi:: it is mind boggeling, sometimes so much my mind cant handle and is overwhelmed.  Ego is so big, it cant handle wat it cant handle.  Or see's as logical

 

Preeto: its so simple and so mindblowing!

 

B PaJi:: simplicity is difficult to some like me.  Mind loves to over complicate and confuse.

 

Preeto:  we always think of this existance as an ocean, and we are bottles full of water, floating around inside the ocean.  The ocean of love and light is His body, is in us and around us, just bottle of ego thinks it separate.  So Baba ji is not the bottle anymore, just the ocean, so he is free to roam inside all of us when we call His Name, SatNaam.  Simple as that.

 

Baba ji said he had to show sangat all these things to increase our love and devotion for Satnaam, to make us really truly believe.  That he also had to take away everyone's dukh, otherwise they wouldnt have been able to see past that and enjoy the sangat.

 

We also realised the power of doing satnaam overrules our karma, meaning that love overrules Karma.  So even though under maya, karma overrules everything, so we only get what we deserve - dukh and sukh.  And Satnaam in our hirdha remains dormant like milk inside a rock as Baba ji put it.  SatNaam is just watching what we do, silently waiting for us to get sick and tired of running around the outside, and perhaps to do a real ardas that pierces the hirdha, pierces the rock.

 

But then when we live in the world but call upon Satnaam in our hirdha, then HE (seen as Baba Ji's form) is right there with us. And He overrules Karma, rewrites our destiny, takes care of everything.  So that is why Pritam Anand said to us, once we have Baba ji's blessing then we dont need to worry about anything, just keep doing Satnaam, keep calling him out of our hirdha. 

 

“Thir ghar baso harjun pyaray,

satgur tumary kaaj savaray-

sit steady in your mind home ear beloeved one of God,

for the Satguru is taking care of all your tasks.” – Guru Arjun Dev ji.

 

B PaJi: satnaam

 

Preeto: all we need to do is to keep holding onto His Name, the Supreme Being inside Baba ji’s body we saw on the outside in Canada, is the same Supreme Being who takes the shape of Baba ji  in us on the inside when we call His Name SatNaam.  So that is why he rules our dreams as well.  He is King of Kings in that realm too.

 

Baba ji said keep on doing Satnaam all the time, say it if you like, when you get tired of that do it with your breath it, when you get tired of that recite in your mind, when you get tired of that do it in your hirdha, when you get tired of that say it again ..no matter how you recite it, keep on doing your “Satnaam Satnaam satnaam” simran.  And from Satnaam go onto just “SAT SAT SAT” and from that go onto “EK ANG SAT SAT SAT” meaning the THE ONE THAT IS ALL PERVADING (EK), IS SITTING INSIDE OUR HIRDHA AS THE LIGHT (ANG),  IS THE TRUTH (SAT).

 

Baba ji said He has established EK ANG SAT as the highest mantra now in this Age, much more powerful than all that have gone before.  So as our consciousness rises, we will get to this mantra.  That after sangat at R ji’s house, there were so many blessings, that Sundar Nagari (Baba ji’s place in Dargah) doubled in size, and He established a permanent Light from that spiritual realm onto this Earth realm at R ji’s house.  And established 500 Sants as well to be permantly there.

 

Preeto: So now that is our only aim, to stay out of other thoughts, to do Satnaam as much as we can, because that means Baba ji is with us taking care of everything. And absolutely not to worry about anything at all, not worldy things or having spiritual experiences either.

 

Its so simple, going to Canada helped us realise how simple it is.  Baba ji said, he simplified Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji to one word, "SATNAAM" and simplified all relgious disicplines (rules and regulations etc) to one thing : TOTAL SURRENDER.   That's how simple he has made this path compared to all paths gone before.

B PaJi: ok. I wanted to ask u, i dunno if i read correctly, but is there something on the site that says if u just visit the site u get naam?  Is that true?

 

Preeto: Dassan Dass ji wrote that he blesses everyone who visits the site even once

O ji said that when he first went to the front page he felt the Gurparsaad right there and then and started going into samadhi after that.  It obviously depends on everyones ego when they visit.  If they are thirsty souls they will ignite right away.

 

B PaJi:  ok cool - so we can just send links out to people and by them clicking they'll be blessed with it?

 

Preeto: all the writings are gurparsaadi , means they are blessed and all those who read it are blessed.  Remember Baba ji said to all of us at the last sangat in Canada before the airport to keep blessing others, so whomever we say to recite satnaam satnaam, and if they do, then Baba ji said he will pull them from the inside to satnaam.

 

B PaJi:  I cant remember that.  Its funny, a friend of mine has started doing simran and she started feeling amrit already. I was amazed straight away..  It must be Baba ji’s grace.

I haven’t told her of Baba ji or anything.  So he’s made it even easier for people to get blessed just through all of us.  Yeah, I understand now.

 

Preeto: think our friends trust us, so they dont need to get into the problem of trying to trust and get to know Baba ji from the outside.  They trust us, we bless them on behalf of Baba ji, they feel the difference inside because he is pulling them from the inside.  We asked him to clarify this, and he said we just ask them to start doing satnaam simran and he will pull them to SatNaam on the inside. And Baba ji physically started pulling an invisible rope, like a tug of war player.

 

B PaJi:  wicked. so bootiful

 

Preeto: its true, we have been chatting to another penjee on messenger for a couple of months and she hasnt had Naam formally from Baba ji or Dasssan dass, and she was telling us yestrday that since speaking to us she has been feeling warm energy (amrit) in her navel area all day long for the last month or so!!  So its all Baba ji working thru all of us that he has blessed to do so.  He said that we are all his extended arms.  And arms always go ahead of the body, so he is pushing us forward out into the world, rather than himself.

 

B PaJi:  wicked. thats great man.

 

Preeto: Also Baba ji said that he blessed the website "times 10" so anyone who visits now will defintiely feel much more Gurparsaad.

Preeto: .He is so kind, made it so easy for everyone, all they have to do is believe and start doing simran.
