God Is Nothing

H: My friend said that when you get the chance to eat, eat.  When you get the chance to go to the toilet, go to the toilet.  And I added when you get the chance to fill up with petrol, fill up with petrol as well!

Baba Ji: A man once asked a Chinese saint, “what do you do?” He replied, “when I am hungry I eat, when I am tired I sleep.”    The man then asked, “what are you doing when you are sitting like that (in meditation posture)?”   The saint replied, “when I am sitting like this, I think of nothing.  That is my mediation. I think of nothing.”

Why did he say he thinks of nothing? Because God is nothing.  What is, is Maya.   So, if you become nothing, you will become God-like.

H: In gurbani it says, “Jab hum hotai, tab tu nahee.  Abh tuhee, mai nahi.  Meaning that when I (ego) existed then You (God) were not there.  But when You where there, I was not.”

Baba Ji: Yup, that’s all.  God (love) has no language.  Love’s language is only spoken through the eyes and the act of good deeds, that’s all.  All other languages are for the time and place people are existing in.  God has no language, yet around us we have so many languages.   All you see around you is diversity and even having so many religions is all part of the diverstity.  Diversity is the result of a human egotistical mind which strives only for higher and prouder, but only ends up creating ignorance of the Truth.

However, competition is good for evolution and construction, but it also creates ignorance of Truth.  So how do you live in a world full of diversity without becoming ignorant?  If you appreciate your competition then there is no rivalry.  In the religion where Truth prevails there is no rivalry, otherwise diversity will eat you alive.  Diversity is all part of Maya.
