Meditate For God's Glory

Baba Ji : Some people whilst doing their spiritual labouring (bhagati) think they are being humble by saying, "we don’t desire to go from hell to heaven.  We don’t even have desire for Sach Khand!"   I reply, "that is still ego; trust me, that is still ego.  If you don’t want it, then why are you doing it? Why are you doing it but saying, 'I don’t want it?' "

(Baba Ji laughs.) 

H : But if you say you want it, then it becomes a desire.  Although it is a want for something spiritual, isn't it still a desire? 

Baba Ji : Say to God, "I want it for You.  May Your house stay in peace, may my house fall to pieces."  So you do it for God's glory,  not your own. 

H : For the glory of Naam, for the glory of God. 

Baba Ji : So I say to those fake humble ones, "You are speaking falsehood."   Instead of listening to me, they start slandering me.  They never knew I was giving Naam and they were still thirsty for the Naam.   My thirst is quenched.  My love has gone so far, I don’t need humans like that anymore.  I treat animals as humans because they are better than slanderers! (laughter) 

H : Animals live in the present moment as far as I can see.  They don’t worry about tomorrow, they don’t even care what happened five minutes ago. 

Baba Ji : He who lives in the moment and conquers the moment and delivers the moment in compassion is a resident of Sach Khand (realm of Truth) and anything other than that is a sickness. 

H : I read about Rajneesh (Osho).  He said, "if you see a tree that needs watering then go water the tree, you should have that much compassion for everything." 

Baba Ji : Compassion should produce a child like quality in you.  If its not there then any compassion you do is still feeding your ego.   That’s what Sikhs do in the Gurdwaras. 

H : Once there was a young preacher on stage at the Gurdwara and he was giving a good example of people who take Sikh initiation.  He said that instead of coming out of the ceremony with humility those people start saying “I am a Khalsa (pure) now!”  They are full of ego.  However, he was not much better himself, as the next day he was doing preaching and slandering the Radhasoami Guru. 

Baba Ji :  At least RadhaSoami Gurus are not killing saints and slandering saints.  They are honouring them and taking care of them.
