Ego inflames the mind and pride expresses itself in the body.   The higher someone's pride the deeper they fall into self-pity when things dont go as they want.  Just like the taller the tree, the deeper the roots.   Indian people's pride is as bad as the Indian Guru's were great.   Bribes to gods to get what they want, bribes to politiicians and to judges, police and anyone in power are the norm.  Indian people are proud of their Laws, but the Law is bought.   This way of thinking has permeated the whole of the society.  Whereas in China the slightest hint of corruption was stamped on with a jail sentence.  No one should be proud of being Indian as it is full of corruption.  The root cause is because right now in the world is the increased chase for Maya - to fulfill desires in a world where resources are becoming scarce.   People see nothing wrong in doing anything in order to fulfill their desires for wealth, position and power.   There is corruption in politics and in religion too.  The bribes in the religious places is the preacher taking money for empty ceremonies in the false promise of making a person''s desire coming true.   Instead of quelling people's desires, religious places are adding to the relentless increase of Darkness and Ignorance - KAL.  That is why this Age is known as KALJUG - Age of Darkness and Ignorance.   But Bhagti, the path of selfless devotion to Truth, is under AKAL- the one beyond KAL.   Deeds done in ego and pride make a person stubborn they are right.

The higher a culture regards themself as, the bigger the lies and corruption in their society.  Countries like Italy have two economies, one is the popular economy, but underneath the surface is the black economy based on who you know, secret deals, corruption and bribes.   That is the field of Satan i.e. ego and pride are running the mind's of the politicians.   They forget that everything they gain is everything they will leave behind.  They Egyption Pharoes couldn't take their wealth either and it was still in the Pyramids  long after they died.   There are very rare ones like Mahatma Ghandi, Guru Arjun Dev Ji and Guru Tegh Bahadur ji who gave everything,  God's grace, Kirpa, is on countless many, but still it is only the very rare one who earns it.   Look at Islamic countries nowadays, they are respponsible for producing the most dictators, and now the common people are overthrowing them.   This needs to carry on happening worldwide until all people learn to walk on the path of Truth and not in the chase of desires, Maya.   Otherwise the corruption that has taken over the East will engulf the West as well.  The people in the West need to remember their Democracy was based on Truth and to take care of it.  Otherwise Corporate Greed will also be the downfall of the West.  The corporations are based on greed for more profits, for example they are behind the obesity epidemic in the West.   And the obese people are also consumed in the greed for food.   Look at this recession, it is a WAKE UP CALL TO TRUTH for everyone.  It is an EYE-OPENER for everyone to reassess what they are doing.

The so called Hiugher cultures need to look back to the cultures of simple people like the Aborigines to see how they lived in tune with nature and looked after the planet, not just ripping it to a shred for their own greed.   Every person is a temple of Truth, become humble, get peace and realise the Truth within.  For India to rise there needs to be a massive shift.  The youth need to get behind  Anna Hazare, God Bless Him.   For the Age of Truth, the Golden Age, to come in, needs change of thoughts in the younger generation - a revolution of Truth.  Mahatam Ghandi said, "be the change you want to see in the world."  So become Satnaam, see Truth inside yourself and inside others too.  Wake up to the beauty of the Truth, this is the only way the ugliness of  darkness and ignorance will be erased.  In darkness and ignorance only hatred is growing in all corners of the world.   So wake up to the reality of what is happening around you and bring in Truth, Love and Compassion in all your dealings.  Speak the Truth in whatever subject you are involved in.  Challenge the falsehood in whatever field or interaction you are a part of.   Wake up to Truth and ask yourself, "if I am not truthful today, then how will I be truthful tomorrow?"
