Learnt from Baba Ji (2/4/04):

He re-enforced meditating on SatNaam as this is everything.

Be intelligent at your work and dummy (humble) everywhere else!

Have good thoughts to others. i.e. think good for others and you will be doing Truth.

Go into your bad thoughts, i.e. why? i.e. for dass Ego comes into play.

Be the lowest of the low.

You can ask God a question and listen for the answer, maybe you hear his voice, maybe a feelnig you get, an intuition, maybe something someone says or maybe no answer comes back which means do nothing.

Solve the illusion (maya).

Solve your dream e.g. you are a Grocer in a dream and work with Computers, what's false? It's a game, there are false things that come our way and true jewels..

Do Compassion (e.g. volunteering work, hospital work) and Parapkaar. I think dass understood that doing Compassionate things helps us to reduce ego..

Don't judge others, only assess where you are at any moment eg which of the five thieves are running you right now.

Excessive thinking wastes amrit.  Re: Excessive thinking  - by saying its a problem,
your telling your mind it's a problem, sowing this fruit.

Judging others wastes amrit. So say it's not a problem.

Doing things uses up the divine energy of your inner light.

Have to get rid of own logic/manmat – self-wisdom.

Have discussions about things that are bothering you, ask your questions air your doubts and get them resolved so they don’t bother you anymore and you can dor your bhagti.

To beat ego: Take it slowly.  Talked about looking at a brick wall, that is ego, rather than running into it, be lost in it... then you lose your ego.

Admit your sins..

Meditate on SatNaam... then practice.

Keep hacking away.  You have to get rid of your evil self..

He mentioned also about dubidha/doubts - practice what you read from books. Earn the Gyan.

Don't count things like how many hours of simran you did or how much daswand you gave.  Need to remove all that logic and then expectation of spiritual reward.  That is maya thinking to get paid by the hour, this path is total surrender, give everything in love, expect nothing.  Throw negative thoughts away (e.g. burning in fire).

The disciple and the Guru are one.

Don't forget your meditation, travel of the soul.

Everything loves you, but due to karma we think the whole is universe is battleground.  But just remember deep down in everyone is god and God in everyone loves you.

Learnt from him do things from the heart.

Duality is the sens of you’re an me, us and them.  Remove this, i.e. we are separate.

Good and Bad are at this realm. Have no desires, no ego, hence peace.  I.e. want nothing and remove fear/desires.

Even when ego goes, you still have mind, but it’s a compassionate one instread of hatred.
So practise mind of compassion instead of hatred until it becomes spontaneous.

Enjoy whatever Parbrahm puts you in.

Say: “I am nothing, everything is yours.”

TERA KEA MEETHA LAGEH – your will is sweet God.

Get into routine of morning and evening simran and don't break it for anything e.g. parties, etc.

You change from being lawless to following God's laws.

He also mentioned about giving dasdwandh frees you from your own greed, makes you giving , giving, giving , gets you ot of me and mine attitude.
