Simran is a small part of Bhagti

FROM JASPAL JI:

With God's grace we spoke with Dhan Dhan Baba Jee last night - He sends His love and dandouth to you all, Pritam Anand jee, Shoti Mata Jee and Avtaar Jee (Guddi aunty's husband) all send their dandouth to you all.

Speaking with Baba Jee he explained to us what can be considered to be Bhagti.  He said simran is a small part of Bhagti - it is one point concentration. He said the actual meaning of Bhagti is to have compassion for others, to serve others and to love others. To sit and do simran is one part of it the other (big) part of bhagti to serve others.

He said that to have love for the self is to have hate for others, to have love for others first will automatically bring love back to us.

He also said that it is important remember to love every situation that we are put in by God i.e. work/job - He said if one puts their heart into the tasks that they have been given, new opportunities will present themselves. Therefore we do not need to think about the future/opportunities - dedicate yourselves to what you have and the new opportunity will spring up at the right time and say 'Pick Me!'

To help us accept the situations we find difficult we should say 'Tera Paana Meetah Laagaye, Har Naam Padarath xxxx Mungaye' where 'xxxx' would relate to our name so that this tuk becomes personal to us. So despite where we are let us all be thankful that we have Satnaam in our hearts and ask God that it never leaves us.
