Slow and steady wins the race -20 Oct 10

20 Oct 2010.

Spoke with the most kind Baba ji, he said slow and steady wins the race.  Wereas those in a rush to do Bhagti may hit the peaks quickly, but may also easily slip back down just as fast. Why?  Because they never made sure they were on firm ground.  They raced up the mountain without making sure they were on a firm footing.  So by doing bhagti slow and steady it means we have to face our pains one by one, to fight our inner demons, to overcome them.  Baba ji first we may run away from dukh, but when we realise that we need Dukh to do Bhagti, then we ask for more dukh.  It makes us fight with ourself on the inside.  And we have to be a fighter on this path to destroy ourself.  Slow and steady wins the race.   Then inner peace is realised, the true peace, not the peace that nations try and reach.  There peace means living inside their own borders without troubling their neighbours.  If they knew God's ways, they woudl trust each other and there would be no borders and that would be the Peace achieved by finding inner peace first.

Baba ji sent his love and blessings to one and all.
