Conversation With Baba ji - Deras - 4 May 10

H: SatNaam Ji Ka Khalsa SatNaam Ji Kee Fateh Baba Ji.

B: SatNaam Ji Ka Khalsa SatNaam Ji Kee Fateh.  Dandauth Bandhna to all, Sukhee raho – stay in Eternal Peace..

H: Its all Your Kirpa Ji.

B: Its all the Giver’s Kirpa.  Dhan Dhan Sat Parbhram Sarnaee (Blessed blessed Truth Supreme God’s Shelter).  Just call us the servant of the servant of the servant of the servant of the servant.

H: You are still higher than all Baba ji.

B:  J called us alst week, she is a very good soul.  See when people don’t get peace at lower levels they have to go higher and reach the level they have to go.  So what is written for you has to happen.  So no need to think too much, other than staying at feet of God with no desire.  Then everything that happens is grace of God, and grace of God is sweet.

H: Baba Ji please bless our Reiki teacher, she helped many others, she passed away last night. 

B: Satnaam Satnaam Satnaam.  You don’t have to worry about it – stay in peace, she’s home (into the Light) – may everyone become Dhan Dhan.  Those who want to heal others and do good for others, these souls are the grace of God.  The ones who think of others and live for others is what Bhagti is all about.  When you live for others you live truly. When you uplift others you are already uplifted by God.  So what is the SatGuru?  He calls himself low and uplifts others higher than himself.  That is what Satguru is. If that wasn’t there then Guru-disciple wouldn’t happen.  The SatGuru passes on the blessings  expecting no return – so just keep going , keep going and don’t look back. Keep walking, keep repeating, keep repeating SatNaam.

H: We cant thankyou enough Baba Ji for everything.

B: We cant thank enough for anything, but we can do SatNaam in everything.

H: even that with your grace.

B: Its all His grace, all GurKirpa.  The one who is going to do Bhagti is already chosen by God.  Remember that He keeps Bhagti in His own hand.  Then one by one He writes their destiny.  He choses his Bhagats and makes them fulfil their destiny and unites them with Himself.  Now it doesn’t happen by paaths (ritual readings).  I’m not against paath (reading gurbani) – its only good if you listen and earn it.  Its not going to create magic in your life just by reading.  Magic is already there in your life.  Your breath is going in and out, you are shitting and pissing and eating without making it happen.  You are waking up and you don’t know who is waking you up.  You are going to sleep and you don’t know how that happened.  You are just a confused soul.  And the confused soul thinks that I am alive.  Confusion cannot be alive. Confusion is in pain.

B: Write an article:   Some smalltime Sants come nowadays and start criticising that Sikhism never had “dera” – communities around Sants (which are everywhere in Sikhism now and which they are criticising to show they are part of the “mainstream”).  They themselves have grown up in a Sant Dera!!  They are saying that if the Sikh Panth (“mainstream”) had stayed pure as Khalsa, Sants would not have been able to create Deras which millions of Sikhs now flock to instead of the “mainstream”.  They are completely wrong.  They forget that Immortal God made a Dera around Baba Nanak and his son Baba Sri Chand.  Those Deras were all created as per Hukam of God.  So that Dera is good where the Name of the One is remembered.   Gurbani tells us to go to those places where the Sant resides and listen to the Gurbani their and put it into practise.  That’s where God is.
